Split long text into a ready-to-post thread
Paste a long draft and get it chopped into numbered posts that each fit the platform limit - split at sentences, never mid-thought. Works for X (Twitter) threads, Bluesky, Threads, Mastodon, LinkedIn and more.
Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste is uploaded.
Paste your text to split it.
Your thread will appear here, one card per post, each within the limit.
Frequently asked questions
How are the posts split?
The splitter breaks your text at the largest natural boundary that still fits: first at paragraph breaks, then at sentence endings, then at spaces. A single word longer than the limit is the only case that gets cut mid-word.
Does the numbering count toward the limit?
Yes. When numbering is on, the splitter reserves space for the 1/n marker on every post before it splits, so each post - marker included - stays within the platform limit. No more publishing a thread where the last post suddenly overflows.
Which limit does the splitter use?
The standard free-account post limit of the platform you pick: 280 for X, 300 for Bluesky, 500 for Threads and Mastodon, 3,000 for LinkedIn, 2,000 for Discord and 160 for a single SMS. Premium or higher tiers on some platforms allow longer posts.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Splitting runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing you paste is transmitted, stored or logged.
